The Immanuel Athletic Boosters (IAB) was originally formed in 2006 with the stated
goal to provide financial support through fundraising activities, and where applicable, a
labor force to help implement projects identified by Immanuel Lutheran High School for
its interscholastic athletic program. The IAB was set up under the non-profit and tax
exempt corporate structure of Immanuel Lutheran High School and College, Eau Claire,
Wisconsin.
In 2024 it became apparent that the primary means of fundraising for the IAB (namely
providing labor for Eau Claire area music festivals) was no longer viable, and a new way
to operate was going to be needed to move into the future.
The Executive Board determined that the IAB should be its own entity and cease
operation under the corporate structure of ILHS, which was the intent from IAB
inception. In June of 2025, the Immanuel Athletic Boosters reorganized and registered
as a non-profit corporation in the state of Wisconsin named “Immanuel Lutheran High
School Athletic Booster Club, Incorporated” EIN 39-2511903. The Booster Club received
authorization to operate as a tax-exempt organization under Internal Revenue Code
Section 501(c)(3) on July 22, 2025.
After six months of planning, research and internal restructuring, the “new” IAB
launched. Based on a membership model, the revised structure will allow for greater
participation from interested Boosters across the country and continue to provide
opportunity for local Eau Claire Boosters to support athletics at ILHS.
The complete bylaws of the Immanuel Lutheran High School Athletic Booster Club,
Incorporated can be found in the ‘Guidelines’ section of this IAB webpage.

athletics. The revised Booster Club intends to continue in this stellar tradition! A listing
